Project Management has established itself as a discipline vital for achieving the desired business results in India and around the world. Special emphasis is being placed by corporate houses on getting Trained and Certified project professionals. Government bodies and Public Sector Enterprises too have realized that one of the major reasons for a high rate of failure of their projects is the lack of efficient and trained Project Managers. But irrespective of various trainings and certifications, project professionals who master some of the key soft skills critical in any project environment are seen to be more successful than the rest of their counterparts. One of such skills that can make or mar project results is the “Art of Negotiation”.

With Dr. Vijayaditya, Controller of Certifying Authority, Ministry of Communications & IT, Govt. of India as the Key Note speaker for the ceremony, the event was valuable in mirroring the negotiations involved in government and public sector projects. The panel consisted of experienced speakers Himadri Banerji, CEO and Project Director, Reliance Energy and L.B.
