PMI Standards
PMI Standards provide guidance for the practice of the
profession. PMI members receive a copy of the latest version
of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge
(PMBOK® Guide) in English on CD ROM. Members also
can access other PMI Standards documents, at no charge,
online in the PMI Members Area of the Web site and the
PMI Member Community.
Periodical Publications
PMI Member’s receive monthly subscriptions to
PM Network®, the magazine of the Project Management
Institute and PMI Today™, the newsletter of the
Institute. Quarterly issues of Project Management Journal®,
a professional journal for the project management profession,
can be accessed online in the Members Area of the Web
site. Members who wish to receive the Journal in print

PMI Component Organizations
As a PMI member, you can join PMI’s many component

Certification
PMI offers the Project Management Professional (PMP®)
certification, which is recognized worldwide as the standard
for measuring an individual’s core knowledge, understanding
and application of project management. The Certified Associate
in Project Management (CAPM) certifies individuals who
have demonstrated fundamental project management knowledge
and experience by supporting projects using project management
tools, techniques, and methodologies. PMI members receive
significant discounts on the cost of these certification
examinations. For members who have attained the PMP certification,
a significantly reduced recertification fee is an added
benefit.

PMI’s SeminarsWorld® courses, which are offered

The PMI James R. Snyder Center for Project

available to members at reduced rates and include copies

Salary Survey
The PMI Project Management Salary Survey,
Third Edition includes a sampling of nearly 2,600 professionals

PMI Research Conference
The research conferences are being held
every two years and focus on project/program management
research that advances the body of knowledge and practice
of the project management profession. At each conference
