The North India Chapter of the Project Management
Institute (PMI®) was founded in May 25th 2002, as an autonomous,
non-profit, tax-exempted. membership association dedicated to
the science of project management. PMI® is internationally
recognized as the official certifying body for the global project
management community through practices that address appropriate
local, national and global requirements and standards. We are
a professional service organization dedicated to supporting
our members and promoting the Project Management profession's
principles here as a North India Chapter.
Every month our organization offers a significant number of opportunities
for project management members and non-members.
We meet and share professional experiences, knowledge and education
at our monthly meetings.
We welcome and invite fellow Project Managers and people working
in related industries to join us at our chapter sponsored events.
We encourage interested Project Management Professionals to
join the Project Management Institute and get involved with
the PMI North India Chapter
Our objective as a North India Chapter is to
be a vibrant chapter, which leads and leverages its local and
global resources and networks to increase awareness, recognition
and support for the project management profession. Our goals
supporting this are two fold:
Facilitate a holistic platform/network
to exchange knowledge, information and expertise among
the members.
Bring and synchronize the best industry
practices together by cross-fertilization of ideas from
industry and institutions.
Translate the knowledge, skills and best
industry practices to benefit social, environmental and
government projects and other initiatives that eventually
benefit the common man.
