Certfication Process

The purpose and goal of this program is to develop, maintain, evaluate, promote and administer a rigorous, examination-based, professional certification program of the highest caliber.
To achieve PMP® Certification, each candidate must satisfy all education and experiential requirements established by the PMI® and demonstrate an acceptable and valid level of understanding and knowledge about project management that is tested by the Project Management Professional Certification Examination. In addition, those who have been granted the PMP® credential must demonstrate ongoing professional commitment to the field of project management by satisfying Professional Development Program requirements.
The examination is computer-based and comprises 200 multiple-choice questions. The allotted time to complete the examination is 4 hours. The examination is offered exclusively through Prometric, a leading worldwide provider of comprehensive, technology-based testing and assessment services. Prior to sitting the exam, you must lodge your application through the PMI in the USA, however, the exam itself can be sat at any time throughout the year. Apply online or email the Professional Development Director in PMI North India for an application form.
